Coincidentally, as soon as I posted my last message, I just saw they were claiming to do share buybacks. That's what got me with them in the first place, along with thinking they had a good product. I don't trust their product anymore to be honest, but man I want to believe they are on the right track again. Mostly for two reasons. One so I didn't completely lose my shirt on these guys, but second so I can at least tell my wife it wasn't as stupid as she thought to not bother dumping the shares when they hit rock bottom. Sure I could have claimed the loss on my taxes over a couple decades, but maybe it'll turn around. The question is, after years and years of false hope and flat out lies, can we really trust them this time around? How many SHLs gave us hopeful information only to have none of those things happen?
I'm actually moderately ashamed to admit that, even though I just posted a message about how we were all scammed, after seeing posts from the other board I have a minuscule amount of hope they might actually turn this around with DF running the thing again. I do have a small caveat with that though, and that is we have to assume that all the stuff we heard prior to him leaving the company wasn't total Unicornese. I've literally been saying this for years; I don't expect them to be able to turn this around anymore, but I sure hope they manage to do so. Not just for my own personal gain. I literally WANT to be wrong so many of us can get our investment back. I gave up thinking I was going to pay for my house with this, but it sure would be nice to get some of our investment money back again.
