It is not necessary to take tissue samples or to perform laboratory tests. Scanning with the camera lasts for 80 seconds and the result is ready immediately. Prof. Kostov is of the opinion that in order to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, the state should take responsibility in the form of organized mass screening.
The essential indicator that there is a problem is that, in the presence of a malignant disease, the woman receives bleeding especially during intercourse and outside the menstrual cycle. This is a sign that she should go to a doctor's review.
