Does anyone know if the trial in Israel is essentially intended to prove safety, and once that's done it can be sold in places where cannabis is legal worldwide. I think it's a stretch to call it full FDA approval, but it's essentially what others are doing.
I'm also invested in OWCP, while they do intend to take their drugs through full Phase 1, 2 and 3 Trials to gain drug approval, in most cases I believe once proven safe in Phase 1, they plan on initiating sales where cannabis can be sold legally.
I believe once cannabis products are more readily available in forms that go beyond the raw plant, the benefits of certain drugs will be impossible for Congress to ignore. Likewise, as much as big Pharma is paying Congress not to act, they'll realize they cannot stop it, and I suspect you'll see a major push by big Pharma to partner or acquire cannabis based companies.
