It I'll take new collection programs, similar to the one undertaken in Madison County, to collect the plastic that is currently tossed to the side of the road or into the garbage.
Municipalities have an incentive to do that to keep it out of the landfills. And at first they will do it at no cost to JBI. Over time there will be competition for that collected plastic from different types of companies.
Paying for that type of plastic is not a near term problem. Establishing the new programs to collect it is.
We do not have enough information to know if enough low-hanging fruit is accessible to JBI for there to be a bigger near term issue.
