Well you've got your GOP 'brain dead voters' so it's a wash.
As for 'flushing the rest'? Seriously? 11 million? Logistics, please. Costs to round up store, feed and transport?
How about the optics. Enough Amtrak 'stock' or do we need freight cars? Will the forced 'boarding' of those cars, utilizing uniformed and armed personnel, remind the world of anything?
Mexico awaiting with open arms and Mariachi bands playing?
U.S. service and leisure industries, agriculture? You want to pay more, MUCH more, for groceries?
