30 kilometers between the Sullivan mine and the Sully project. This is the former producing Sullivan zinc mine;
SULLIVAN ZINC MINE – KOOTENAY BC, CANADA
In operation for about 100 years, the Sullivan Mine of Teck Resources was one of the world’s largest SEDEX silver, lead, zinc deposits. Over its life Sullivan produced 17 million tonnes of lead and zinc and 337 million ounces of silver from 150 million tonnes of feed. At current prices value of production was US $49 Billion.
Notice the large numbers of lead and silver as well - important facts.
A silver rally is in the making... if similar results can be achieved (or even half of it ) at the Sully, this will be a huge upside to the zinc part.
The questions; we know they did testing of the property before they claimed it - must have been at least "fairly good" - otherwise this strong crew would not have continued and bought the rights to it.
Despite having made a relative clear computer image of the deposit (with different tests and various equipment), they have not made the one drilling whole, that is strong enough without doubts. Why ?
They are talking about complicated terrain/rock and a bit unluck.
Yes, it can be so. I understand one seldom get it right the first time - (when you find a confirmed deposit) yet; they have to "make it" this season. Results that is strong enough to continue, so they can narrow it down better.
The plus; these guys are the top of the line, really. They have put a significant part of there own funds, when they started the project.
With all this knowledge and experience (see the website), it`s almost impossible they want have a viable deposit.
Pre-testing and long time professional team; this have been examined in so many angels as can be - and the computer image confirms a deposit - now they "only" have to get the numbers of zinc etc higher.
