I had a friend who quit his job as a bus driver
for a community service organization to go
around singing songs for tips and ended up being
a street musician here and there for over 10 years.
Full beard and broad chest and happy eyes and all.
John was his name. It's been many years ago now.
He spent 2 years running an open stage in a bar in Indy.
Became an alcoholic on the free booze - got over that
and became happy again. I miss John. Dead or alive.
