Yep, I had some land in the middle of Georgia down on the Flint River. There were three liquor stills and a sugar mill on the property. You could see where the revenuers had showed up with axes. The old man whom I purchased the land had grown up on the property and was quite familiar with the operations. He told me that he and his Daddy made the best liquor around because they used the peaches they grew in the liquor. Also, he mentioned that they used propane gas to heat the still so that the revenuers wouldn't see the smoke from the fire.
Had to try and stay one step ahead of the competition and the law!!
