For a tiny tech co with cutting edge products but little financial resources, one has to be careful what the offer is. In one of my previous post: a good friend, also a long time NNLX investor, a retired scientist from Bxxxxxxx, told me that a very brilliant colleague quit his jobs with his tech/product, put in all his life savings and set up a tiny tech co. , took a "generous offer" and ended up booted out from his own co years later when it was taken over and ended up with only pennies in the dollar of his investment and the tech / product was either shelved or ended somewhere. He returned to academics and taught in a major university! Lesson from Wall Street, a jungle.
What is too good to be true is always too good to be true!
