After the decision to authorize women to drive, things are starting to change in Saudi Arabia. It has opened the first dealership, exclusive for women, in the heart of the commercial center.

In a Muslim kingdom of rigid customs, where women's rights are not at the same level as men's, the announcement made by the monarchy ruling Saudi Arabia was made known throughout the world, authorizing, for the first time in the history of this country, the women to drive. And while the decision has yet to be implemented in practice, Saudi Arabia's first female car dealer has just opened its doors .

The (historic) moment was, according to the Reuters agency, marked with pomp and circumstance, with several women posing in front of automobiles, surrounded by balloons of various colors.


As for cars, the same source reveals that these are not single-brand proposals, but rather a multi-brand area in the Le Mall shopping center, focusing on more fuel-efficient vehicles and supporting clients to be provided by a team of vendors .

"It is widely known that women are the ones who make the most purchases in the shopping centers," says Sharifa Mohammad, head of the vendor team, explaining the choice of space with the fact that "the whole shopping center" is dominated by women. "It's run by women, the cashiers are women, just like every employee in the restaurants."

I've always been interested in cars, but we women could not drive. So, once the ban is over, I'm interested in buying a car, as long as prices are not too high, "Ghada al-Alis, one of the many customers who made their presence in space, told Reuters.

It is recalled that last September the prince regent of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, decided to authorize the women to lead, as of June of this year.
