After chatting with both Maine's Senator's field offices senior staffers I realized something. Only my state's US Senator's are going to be updated about the increased Russian threat to our soldier's I-Phones as revealed in the Oct. WSJ article. The other 98 will not be aware of it or reminded of the SFOR solution to it. I wrote my last letter to all 100 before that Oct. news article. I also got some constructive criticism about my last letter. It was too professional looking. I had them printed on good stationary, signed every one & affixed printed address labels. Big mistake! They looked like they came from some PAC or DC beltway lobbyist. I was challenged to hand write and address the next batch with the WSJ threat update info. I am resolved, regardless of writers cramp, to now do so.Consequently, I won't be posting here as much. I will update you as to my progress. I feel compelled to do this because of the pending passage of the Federal spending authorization bill sometime this month. Funds will then be made available to DOD. I want those issue I-Phones secured this procurement cycle. So I am going to exercise my Constitutional right "to petition the Government for a redress of grievances". Wish me luck!
