It's the newbies I'm concerned about. The guy that I got in at 1.65 -- talked to him today, he said "I see the stock is dropping." Explained to him about the tricks they used, the 100 share walkdowns, etc. This is a very smart guy who is a very experienced (and well paid) executive -- yet all this was news to him.
When someone like that finds market maker tricks hard to believe, and a revelation, how can you expect your average unsophisticated newbie to have a strong hand? It's nauseating to think of these crooks getting away with stealing shares from the unsophisticated, who follow the dumb advice to have hard stops in (so the market makers can steal from you more easily).
