Jeff Sessions is being portrayed as a villein. I see him as a hero. Facing a problem that could grow out of proportion. The future of cannabis is at steak. Jeff Sessions is charged to enforce the laws of the land. There needs clarification because there is a turn around of the value of cannabis. Cannabis generates huge tax income to the States. Medically it has proved to solve all kinds of problems. However, there is a law on the books that says its illegal. Remember the Justice Dept is there to enforce the laws and they don't make them. If cannabis is now seen as a positive drug then their must be a correction in the law that allows the public to utilize marijuana that will allow its use. This requires Congress to change that law. I think that is exactly what Jeff sessions is doing. There is a conflict with Big Pharma because changing the law will effect their cash flow and the government is sympathetic because of possible tax loss. I see the answer to the problem to motivate the Big Pharma companies to take a position in the manufacture and distribution of cannabis. As best as I see it all will be happy. The public gets the cannabis, the States get their tax revenue and the Pharma continues to control and receive revenue. Its a triple win.
