I was banned from IHub as well. My unforgivable offense was that I posted on Silicon Investor that IHub was run by crooks. Best I can tell, the pro-PTOIers who didn't like me warning people that PTOI is a scam, then ran to IHub in the hopes of getting me banned. That's all it took--IHub permanently banned me.
What I said wasn't untrue or baseless--IHub's lead, Matt Brown, worked with his cohorts to pump and dump stocks on IHub's message boards and deleted posts of anyone raising a red flag. There was a gaggle of posters who, en masse, swarmed message boards to create excitement. Mr. Brown profited handsomely until the SEC charged him with fraud. He ultimately did a year in jail for that and then went right back to run IHub.
As for ADVFN which still owns IHub, during the fraud proceedings against Mr. Brown, their position on Mr. Brown defrauding IHub's readers was that the charges were a 'personal' issue of Mr. Brown's. Mr. Brown was allowed to stay on. ADVFN itself couldn't care less that their business defrauds people...but it's clear they will take swift action to retaliate against anyone who references their fraud. If anyone is paying IHub for membership, they're essentially paying a criminal enterprise which still houses the same people who defrauded readers.
