Reading the info from the last few days. It looks like me that HJOE is considering transforming the stock by converting it from trading on an exchange to trading on a blockchain. Don't confuse this with issuing a crypto currency. Blockchain is the mechanics of how crypto currencies trade, but this is not the same thing.
The nice feature of this is that it would eliminate the possibility of naked shorting. They only transactions that would be allowed are buy/sell orders. Also it would remove manipulation by the market makers.
I would not be surprised if this was the future of the financial markets in general. Wall street will resist because of the ton of money at stake.
We will see....
