It was said that if Health Canada does testing/quality control on any products that are found to have pesticide, fungicide (and/or any other chemical treatment) levels above those set by HC, that the entire crop from that harvest will be pulled from the market and disposed of at the company's expense.
This alone could drop a lot of companies. MJ producers in Canada cannot write-off business expenses such as energy (for lights, pumps, etc.), nutrients (nutes are very expensive and plants take them up quickly), and other things that a regular company can write-off. So to lose an entire harvest due to chemicals found on the testing samples to the lab could be absolutely devastating.
All it will take is a few companies to have this happen and all the others will be looking for alternatives like EcoPRO3.
