As for other MJ firms doing better than us, I'll agree that many of them don't have near our potential, but they may have something that we don't, current product sales.
Here in California, many areas have not yet licensed stores to function under the law. In L.A. I believe that existing stores may sell MJ, but I'm frankly uncertain that users still don't need a prescription, I've heard reporters saying it both ways. The other thing I've heard is that while initially all existing stores will get temporary licenses, when all the dust settles, some of these stores may be forced to close.
I suspect that over time some of the existing stores, or existing companies, will fail, either by not getting needed licenses, or by competition. In that OWCP has products that are truly unique, I believe that their products will ultimately be available in practically every store.
In some ways it's similar to when dot.com companies were popping up everywhere, and initially doing great. Over time, I believe the greater majority of them failed, but the few who succeeded became huge. I believe OWCP is one of those which will thrive, but it may take awhile longer as while they have products they call market ready, I don't believe they'll put them on the market until at least the safety trial is completed, and any problems discovered in the trial are covered by the label instructions on the product.
