On NPR news tonight, they announced the EU's revised data protection & privacy rules taking effect in May. Your data should be protected against accidential or unlawful loss and disclosure. The revised rules now cover internet communication via mobile phone networks. Gee, don't we have a product, MT version 3 that does that? Also, aren't we past the 36 month average processing periond for an international patent? (yup) Didn't SingTel roll out MFA/OOBA for all its' mobile banking customers in Asia last October? (yes again). Isn't Trustwave, who we're suing for infringment, 97% owned by SingTel? (right once more). So, if SingTel bought us out they could meet this revised EU rule. They already have a foothold in the US market via Trustwave. So, the world of secure mobile data transmission would be their oyster in my flight of fancy. With $92 Billion in assets the SFOR purchase price would be chump change to them to be recovered by ongoing litigation IMHO. Yeah, I know. Plesant dreams sleddogs.
