I recognize that there are endless variations on these scams and new ones cropping up frequently. But, if I prevent just one of us from falling into one of these rabbit holes, is it not worthwhile?

someconcerns , you are bringing up true and useful info on scams BUT lets face it there are just SO MANY its hard to list them all and NEW ones pop up all the time and old ones get recreated. An ADULT with a phone , an email , an address, a history on line, and even a CONFIDENTIAL trading account or MEDICAL FILE that has not been approached directly or indirectly by a SCAMMER is as RARE as a VIRGIN MOTHER.

To me what is lacking is not only education but a HARD SET of rules to financially live by, Like the 10 COMMANDMENTS only financial. May take MORE than 10 (LOL) but need to be in HARD COPY for reference and as a reminder. This stuff is not taught in SCHOOL that I know of so advisable to pass on to ones children. Would need to be updated should it be found to have a leak. PROBLEM is it does NOT EXIST (that I know of). Would think with all the crap we can pull up on a computer something like it would exist.
