As a shareholder, I am STILL waiting for the BOD and the CEO to begin to create value for their shareholders. Yes its the BOD job to create value for the company which in turn their shareholders.
So another fellow who believes its all about share price. Step on up fufat. Come on in and run the company, or become Chairman and hire a new CEO. The existing BOD and CEO just suck. Of all the trader bulls**t I read on the message boards, yours won tonight's prize.
" If the company is relying on a litigation win to fund the production of new products then I don't know what to say."
You obviously believe it or you wouldn't have written the words. So, show me any evidence that you have that this is true? Any evidence that the company isn't working its tail off against great odds to raise money (that they are constantly condemned for), to create innovative new products (that they are constantly condemned for) to open new markets (that they are constantly condemned for). If you and the other message board geniuses can do better either step up or retire your keyboard. There was never a better time.
But you know what, the $50+ million they are going to get from J&J will be nice and make DECN a legend. But what the he!!, let's tell the company to drop the suit and concentrate on share price. What do you think the damn share price will be if they trounce J&J? Many who condemn will never know, because they either never owned shares, or sold years ago, or are looking to sell now. Where do you fall in?
Time to step up. Show us how a stock jockey can run a company better than an expert in the field. I have always wanted a message board poster to take over a public company. It is sort of an intellectual curiosity for me. If you read the message boards you can only come to one conclusion. Individual shareholders all know better than the current management and BOD, despite the fact that these men got here by being huge successes in their fields. This field. Every damn management and BOD decision is second guessed or worse. Well, step up and show us. And if the share price doesn't go up ... if shareholder value isn't recognized.... I can't wait to trash you.
