FB has 2.38 B shares and trying to do a 3 for 1 sp

FB has 2.38 B shares and trying to do a 3 for 1 split which equals 7.14 B shares to reward shareholders, i know this is hardly a fair comparison but i'm sure they will have a buyback program to drive the pps up again. r/s rarely ever help the pps and usually fail . but some kind of a buyback program could hold and help the pps from falling downward and increase the value, unless there is a problem within the business.
