Business Development consulting to design, develop, and operate cutting-edge and sustainable technologies; including purpose grown crops (feedstocks), solid waste processing, de-polymerization energy production, anaerobic and static pile composting, and commercial organic grow systems.
Co-founded the pioneering company for the conversion of waste plastics into synthetic petroleum, raising $23MM in private equity for the construction of a 63,000-square foot processing facility.
Managed a 200 ton per day Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), exceeded goals in operations, production, safety, maintenance, budgets, and P&L (Increased Revenues – Reduced Cost).
Co-founded a project company that won the $1MM contract to process waste and recyclables for the 2002 Winter Olympics Games, setting a new world record for waste recovery; responsibilities included the design, implementation and management of the processing system and composting operation.
Successfully designed and managed the $10MM 1996 Summer Olympic Games environmental program; over 3,500 waste management, recycling and cleaning personnel. Coordinated the major sponsors, government (Federal – State - Local), and environmental vendors in a team approach.
Represented Canadian Pacific (two paper-mills) by identifying, qualifying, negotiating and closing ten-year contracts with suppliers for 300,000 tons/year of waste paper in the U.S. for the paper recycling mills in Canada.
