Beautiful Angel, Sugar Dumpling here. Some times these government agencies protect the business, not the consumer. We have all seen the Wells Fargo, US Bank and other fraud stories My step son worked for Wells Fargo in auto loans. He quit about 4 years ago or so partly because he knew about all the double accounts, etc. CFPB did not catch of for years or do anything , he and many employees knew for at least 2 years before the government stepped in.They fined them what to you and me would have been $100, and the CEO fired, but gets benefits for life

The CDC, AMD, ADA and FDA and etc. have many former big pharma and big chemical companies in them making decisions. They seem to protect the business more than the consumer, not all the time though. Links below as examples. These people going against the companies need good proof or could get sued. No reason for them to lie. Yet most of the stories are ignored by or big business controlled government.

I'm am not saying the agencies are totally bad, but. My own personal statin story. A few years back I took a generic called Symvastatin. It made me dizzy. I have not had it since 2007 and I still have like flashbacks of dizziness, had one today, not kidding. Then my doc switched me to Pravastatin. It gave me massive nighttime sweats occasionally. I'd soak both sheets and the mattress pad in sweat. Now my cholesterol is a bit higher and I''m taking elevated amounts of red yeast rice. Guess what, my short term memory is not what it was, and it is listed as a side affect. I see my doc January 10th. He will get an earful about stains, and they get a lot of bad press.
