I thought there might have been something about accelerated timelines for depreciating capital investments - there are several articles discussing the pros (and cons) of "full expensing", but I don't know if it was part of the bill signed last week.

If businesses are allowed to write off all costs associated with processors in the year that they bought them, I could see that changing the "simple math" a bit....
