Childhood Xmas.
A fabulous farm Xmas dinner with
canned fresh butchered meat from
the cellar plus a fresh killed turkey.
I remember our Xmas gifts
at grandpa's house in the country.
67 years ago adults got $5 each;
us grand kids got $1 each. 1950.
Later - our parents got my brother
and I brand new Schwinn bicycles.
The best Xmas gift of my life !!
$65.00 each, a fortune.
My bike was red.
My brother's was blue.
