Of course it adds up. At the risk of getting math

If someone does not get the correct answer then they have probably left out a term in the equation or made a (or many) wrong assumption. Possible incorrect assumptions might include:
1. The company thinks like I do.
2. The company has the same goals I have.
3. Money grows on trees so all I need to do to fund my company is pick some.
4. The company gives a damn about what I think.
5. Like Dilbert's pointy haired boss thinks, all that is required for innovation is the wish that new technology would magically appear.
6. I am privvy to even 10% of the information the company is operating on.
7. If something I don't like happens today it really matters.
I invite others to contribute more.
