UltraFlix doesn't try to have efficient bandwidth

UltraFlix doesn't try to have efficient bandwidth usage, in fact, just the opposite, it attempts to use as much bandwidth as it can take increasing the level of quality and decreasing the amount of compression including better than Blu-ray quality on those fortunate enough to have fast enough connections (e.g. fiber) and no concerns about usage.
