And a Few Still Question the Anavex MOA
I marvel how a few, here, contend that the mechanism of action, how the Anavex sigma-1 receptor agonists actually do their "magic," is "unknown, unproven."
For those without the biological knowledge to understand in some measure the biochemistry and physiology described in this report, it's all biochemical gobbledygook. If they can't understand (or have never read it), to them it clearly means Anavex 2-73 simply can't and doesn't do anything useful in neurons. Case settled.
Fact is, as shown in this peer-reviewed paper (Neurotoxicity Research, Nov 2017) --- for those of us who know sufficient cellular biology ---the mechanism of action of the Anavex sigma-1 receptors is well-described and characterized, showing exactly how they function in restoring normal neuron physiology. No mystery. No doubt.
And soon, to be incontrovertibly proven in human trials.
