I had many jobs during my career, even a few at
Fortune 500 Companies. .. I had deliverables,
assigned tasks, with due dates, and measurable
expected outcomes.
And UNAVOIDABLE Periodic Status Updates ! ! ! !
Performance at the level of the Pershing Manage-
ment Team was followed by exactly two things :
(1) Your manager met with you and HR to design
a "Performance Plan" with exacting and measure-
able tasks to be performed on a specific time frame
. . . . and
(2) Management monitoring of your performance
during the new probationary period was followed
by termination for cause, if performance objectives
were not met according to the terms of the plan.
Everyone reading this post is probably familiar
with such a Corporate Protocol for nonperform-
ance.
Pershing Managers and workers have no such
understanding.
No REAL DELIVERIES IN 2017 ! ! ! ! !
