Petroteq Energy Inc. (TSX.V: PQE) (OTCQX: PQEFF), a company focused on the development and implementation of environmentally friendly heavy oil processing and extraction technologies, this morning announced that it has made significant progress at its heavy oil extraction facility located in Asphalt Ridge, Utah. Per the update, the company has received the Uintah County building permit required for the construction of the facility, and it has already completed the required foundation work. These milestones follow the company’s recent completion of an analysis of the end product of its clean oil extraction process, which indicated a high range of diesel organics with low sulfur and contaminant levels. “With recent reports from Goldman Sachs and the American Petroleum Institute indicating that 2018 will be a good year for Oil in the US, we look forward to getting into production and helping meet the expected demand for heavy crude in the Utah market,” Alex Blyumkin, chief executive officer of Petroteq, stated in the news release.
