Last 2 weeks Before 1st January 2018 California Recreational Marijuana Legalization. This is my analysis of the US marijuana trend and its various stocks. Next week is absolutely crucial week to get some good position but I do not think it will be same for all MJ stocks. Many stocks may stay low due to the tax loss selling. But the 4th week will be huge bouncing back for most of the MJ stocks while maintaining tax loss selling levels for some. I believe the overall trend will be upward. There are stocks already started to warm up while others are still staying flat by slightly going up and down. I think many of the stocks that already showed some sign of life in the last week will continue to the upside. I do not think not all stocks will go to upside at the same time. Some may start later in the December. But I also think many value based and well positioned companies will keep climbing while some of those will be expensive. It seems like the trend for the overall market may have much longer trend than any previous MJ boom due to many positive factors next year unless there is any surprise from fed next year. I am seeing stocks from all different price levels are poping up. So the industry is getting hotter.
I also found out that every week is getting more volatile for MJ stocks than previous week as we get closer to January 1st. There will be a lots of opportunity for both public and private investors. Many people are still waiting on the sideline to have a clear view of the boom. In my opinion, the boom may have already started. Playing Marijuana stocks are dangerous because they are volatile but I see that volatility is good for making money with rapid re-balancing diversified portfolio. There are so many stocks to choose from. But I am expecting many of them will be here to stay and their stock prices may rise exponentially. Many of the companies stock prices may sustain this time because of huge open market to do business. I will be watching for companies who will have producer, distributor and seller licences in California. Overall Marijuana market sentiment seems to be positive and the impact of this positive is growing. I am hoping 2018 will be a great year for Marijuana industry.
