True story:
I told three people about XRP today. All three rolled their eyes as if they were experts in the field. One came back later and asked me, "So what is this XRP thing you were talking about?" A spark of interest was born in the 3rd person.
The funny thing is, whenever i tell people about possible investments they should check out, the first thing out of their mouths is..
"Ohh.. i did that stuff in the past, made a few hundred bucks.."
They then throw words around like, 'margin' and 'stop loss' and that they 'could do it if they wanted to, but theyd rather just put money in the bank.'
of course, i dont push them. its their choice.
If they have $5,000 in a savings account, in one year @ .06% interest.. they will accrue a crappy THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
In 20 YEARS.. they would make a whopping SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS.
