I have a 3 year old Dell Latitude E6410 laptop with a 15" screen.
It was recommended by a small computer store I've gone to for servicing over the past 10 years.
Surprised me too as Dell had some problems years ago. They've come back strong on performance, features and reliability though, based upon what I've read and my experience with mine..
A backlit keyboard used to be unique to Lenovo. Dell's have them and I suppose most laptops now have them. Fades out when not typing, comes back instantly in reponse to touch.
