NISKAYUNA, N.Y. and TEWKESBURY, United Kingdom, Dec. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trelleborg , a world leader in engineered polymer solutions, has through its business area Trelleborg Sealing Solutions fully acquired U.S.-based privately-owned Automated Dynamics, an advanced composite components manufacturer. The bolt-on acquisition provides new, strategic technology to develop next generation composites to solve a myriad of challenging applications in industries such as marine , hydro , and aerospace , expanding into the global marketplace.

The company is located in Niskayuna, New York. Sales amounted to approximately of $7.8 million (approx. SEK 65 M) in 2016. The transaction was consolidated on December 1, 2017.
