When I wrote this little piece of "HUMOR", I never thought it would create controversy.
HEY!!
"The Court takes the motions under submission and will rule on the Motion for Summary Judgement at a later date because the judge's dog ate his homework."
I guess I have to explain the "JOKE"...
This is an age-old explanation one supposedly utilized when one did not have their homework ready for presentation to one's teacher.
I may be showing my age here, as it dates back to covered wagons and horse and buggy times...
Many dogs went hungry back in those days...
thus the submission of the excuse...
My attempt at humor was to show that the judge was not prepared for a decision, thus the excuse given (by me).
From this point forward, a lack of a sense of humor is grounds for immediate banning.
