WestJet is a very well run airline. I invested with them soon after the shares began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange and have added low cast shares to my original investment. Up until recently they were union free and employee's were part of a profit sharing scheme and shares were allocated to employee's. They took on the main competition and won and have added flights to Dublin, Gatwick were have proven to be winners. They stuck to a fleet of 737's and continually added new versions of that aircraft until they began turbo prop services where they added a new fleet. The addition of the Dreamliners will help them start non-stop services to England, Ireland, and other parts of Europe which now require a stop in eastern Canada due to range limitations. I took one of their flights on a hiking trip to Newfoundland from Halifax then left Newfoundland for Dublin to visit some friends. It was off season, reasonably priced, decent service, on time and great customer relations. If you are bored and waiting for something to happen, check out their video's on You Tube they have become famous for in Canada. It proves there is a way to get the job down against all odds.
