it's a talking point designed for FUD .. because most *retail* are clueless about this subject
FYI and again ..
it's only the OTC that has a single platform for this data (Finra's) .. there are
about 7 or 8 individual platforms (on SEC's website) that have to be correlated
re: exchange traded stox
if you notice what was posted *there*
20171207|AAPL|3299550|32516|6556715|Q
the volume for Apple yesterday wasn't 6,556,715 .. rather 24,469,613
Dec 07 2017 169.4599 168.91 170.44 24,469,613
Finra is just one platform (ends in Q vs OTC which ends in O) for exchange traded stox
if folks want to see just how non transparent the SEC is re: this data in RT
they can go to the SEC's website and good luck in *correlating* various platforms for non OTC equities
that is why those of us who have been *dealing* with this since Finra's link
re: the OTC first went live back in Feb 2010 .. (retroactive to August 2009)
know why this RT (real time) info is such a threat to NR and crews' embedded via the vehicle of choice
as i've noted.. back in 2010 this *RT data* was deemed OT *there* until some
*original* crews (whose *voice* had literally posted 1000s of posts that there
was no such thing as *legal* shorting on the OTC .. literally i kid you not) had
to *regroup* re: talking points

Does anyone really believe 50% of Apple’s volume was shorted on 12/7? If not, what does it say about Alan’s interpretation of IPIX’s daily short volume?
