I don't think I will ever completely understand the legal system. The IPR was denied because they confirmed that the patents are valid, but then SecureAuth has a temporary win because the court said the patents are invalid. But, then Trustwave appears to have settled, which to me means the patents are valid.
I'll take the win, especially since that makes 2 companies(Trustwave and Microsoft) that have settled out of court because they know they would lose the battle in court. I would actually like to see SA go to court now and be proven wrong.
