I would never ignore a cutting edge technology. I personally though, will never own a a virtual currency that is not SPIC or FDIC insured. These currencies are here to stay... but they are about to get a rude awakening on regulation and a lot of people are going to be in a lot of trouble for not reporting gains. The threat of regulation was and is real. The IRS has won and will be getting all records for every user and every transaction made both in and out of the account going back to $20k in transactions in a year going back to 2013.

This is also going to scare a ton of people and I think we will see the virtual currency plummet like many, many MJ plays have. I will only flip these plays because a worldwide shutdown is possible and the government can do anything they want. Once they use a virtual currency they can deem all other virtual currencies illegal if proper tracking for taxes is not applied. Big banks will then swoop in and buy the little guys and get the rights from Uncle Sam putting these pop up plays out of business. This is just what I think will happen, but what do I know being in the finance industry my entire life.

IMO blockchain is the tech of the future and I am all for it. These ICO are crazy and popping up everyday. DNAX is my next one to ride up from the bottom with the new plan to capitalize on the high demand and shortage of bitcoin atm machines and are planning an ICO for a scotch/whiskey company. This industry is like the MJ plays years ago... SS did not matter and people even hunted down old dead ticker symbols that could be abbreviations for new reverse mergers in the MJ arena. People just did not care and a ton of people lost millions on the crash down the past couple years.
