Invitation to Wärtsilä stand at Marintec Dear

We are pleased to invite you to attend the Wärtsilä Press Conference to be held on Tuesday December 5 at the Marintec exhibition in Shanghai. The event will take place from 15.30 to 17.00 on the Wärtsilä stand - stand no. N2D51-9, Finnish Pavilion, Hall N2. Roger Holm, President, Wärtsilä Marine Solution will present the Wärtsilä Smart Marine Ecosystem. The presentations will also include announcements on new Wärtsilä product releases as well as information of a new cooperation agreement being signed during the event. There will be a Q & A session followed by a Happy Hour, the theme of which will be 'the Future of the Seas'. Please confirm participation to marit.holmlund-sund@wartsila.com

Wärtsilä's presentations at Marintec will largely focus on the company's Smart Marine Ecosystem vision for the marine industry's future trends, both in terms of operations and ways of doing business. Among the new product introductions will be a new solution, which both increases oil tanker revenues and reduces emissions. Also being unveiled is a new thruster, which is the only one of its size with a tilted propeller to create greater effective thrust.

At 10.08 am on December 6 , the new Wärtsilä, CSSC joint venture company , CSSC Wärtsilä Electrical & Automation (Shanghai) Co Ltd, will be officially opened. This will take place on stand W5 CSSC, Island 1. You are most welcome to attend and senior executives from both companies will be on hand for interviews following the opening ceremony.

The simplified design enhances flexibility and lowers lifecycle costs.
