AC 143 or anyone who understands business strategies.
"Paltry sales figures".
Any successful business requires sales. So how would you propose to do a better job? Remember, you cannot sell to retail outlets....as JNJ has made it abundantly clear they will pull their products out of any store who carries GenUltimate products. This has been going on for years. Recently, the tide has turned. In the last Quarterly, the company has already announced some retail establishments are getting involved. I believe there were two different companies. There are probably more if it can be verified that JNJ has stopped their Racketeering agenda.
Selling into Medicare can work but remember the profit margin is very low and may even create a negative profit margin. But it gets the product name out there. Who needs profit. Oh yes, we do.
Selling overseas seems like a great idea. There are potentially more sales to be generated in foreign markets than in America. Especially when selling our newer products that cannot be sold in America yet as we wait for FDA/UDI approvals. But wait, we are doing just that.
Another great business idea is to create more than just one product. We need several types of test strips. And we need our own meter. But wait, KB has had the insight to do just that.
But, in your comments on how to do a better job, I hope you mention finding another marketing firm that can help KB generate sales. Just remember that if this is part of your idea on what to do differently, please use the same rules that KB has had to use: There is not a lot of money!
