Stop thinking about making millions. Yes, you found investing, you're excited about the possibilities, you cant wait to get started..
STOP!
Before you buy 10 billion shares in some random stock, research the stock FIRST. Try to find reasons NOT to invest in it (its easier to convince yourself positively).
Invest.
Once you make $10 profit.. SELL!
Pay the capital gains tax (read my posts on this)
Celebrate! Youre now closer to a million dollars than 95% of everyone else simply because you actually made a profit.
Reinvest.
Now.... do it again, but sell @ $50. Repeat.
I say it over and over like a broken record; the majority of investors will NEVER make a dime because they never learn how to sell. Buying is not what makes you money. SELLING is (improper English, deal with it).
If you dont know the thrill of earning $10... how will you be prepared to sell when your account shows $1 million, with the possibility of endless riches if you dont sell and wait because 'it may go higher'?
The worst way to invest is to use the 'What's Hot' and 'Hot Stocks' button as your deciding factor because they influences new investors to think that 'hot' means 'guaranteed riches'. Hot simply means 'popular'.
