I'd guess that the new TV is 150" - not because they want a big TV - but rather that's as small as they can make it today and still have the picture look good.
The Samsung Cinema LED the article mentions is 33.8' wide and 4K resolution which would make it 10 pixels/inch (PPI). At 150", the new Samsung microLED TV would be about 35PPI. That's still huge in the context of microLED. By many definitions of microLED, it's not microLED at all.
For mobile devices, they will need to be an order of magnitude smaller. The article says microLED is < 100 micrometer = 254PPI.
