CUPE 358 reaches tentative agreement with District

DUNCAN, British Columbia, Nov. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CUPE Local 358 and the District of North Cowichan reached a tentative agreement yesterday (Nov. 22) with the assistance of a mediator appointed by the BC Labour Relations Board.
CUPE Local 358 is recommending the agreement be accepted by the membership and a ratification meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday November 29.
Further details will be released following the ratification vote.
This agreement covers 175 full-time, part-time and casual workers who provide community services in the District of North Cowichan.
