Why wouldn't a FOGO (Steakhouse with 50 locations) gobble up a GIGL? Let's think about this, shall we?
- FOGO has brought in around 288M in revs per year and is perfect for the adult crowd celebrating anniversaries or a couple on a nice date night. It is mid to higher-end as your looking at a $85-100 dinner bill for two. Kind of a neat theme too - (Gaucho Chefs) Brazillian flare !
- GIGL, a proven concept for the little kids to have play dates and birthday parties while the parents can relax and eat some healthy organic food and sip a beer/wine. Perfect for larger groups, friends, and families to have fun ! Great place to have those mom groups gather on rainy days to let their kids socialize, play, and eat healthy !!
** Is it just me that thinks about this stuff in a world full of BILLIONS of people ? This would be a nice diversified mix IMO and wouldn't cost all that much to ensure that a very large segment of restaurant clientele is captured. They could cross market and have coupons promoting the other restaurant for those located in the same city etc. Something like this would work well together (like peanut butter & jelly)
