There are Fort Stockton/Pecos County locals involved with prepping real estate proactively to suffice for construction workers. The entire region is invested... not in MMEX stock per se, but they’re setting up for ancillary needs.
To put this as lightly as possible - Jack Hanks does not want to f*ck with these people coming from this area. Scamming of this magnitude will cost him much more than his reputation. They aren’t called gun- wielding Texans for nothing.
Peru might have been a middle-of-nowhere project not getting any form of real spotlight and it’s tough for people to validate any details. This time, however, Jack is playing in his own backyard... he’s from Midland. Have you ever heard the saying “don’t shit where you eat?”
