Al Franken did not . . . .
. . . . sexually assault a 14 year old girl.
. . . . induce nine women who didn't know each other to come forward with essentially the same story about preying on women FAR too young for the preyer.
. . . . brag about grabbing women by their pussies.
. . . . walk into the dressing room of a teenage beauty contest and ogle girls and very young women.
. . . . spoken about his own daughter in the most disgusting ways not just once, but on multiple occasions, in multiple venues, and in highly public settings.
. . . . ignore the allegations of more than a dozen women who did not know each other yet made very similar allegations of groping, hands up skirts, vagina touching, and more.
. . . . refute what is increasingly being shown to be spurious charges at best, if not outright lies.
. . . . even breathe a HINT of a negative statement against his questionable accuser.
. . . . deflect the focus on him by publicly chiding others accused of similar actions
On the other hand, he he did . . . .
. . . . quickly acknowledge the accusations, even as the accuser has shown herself to have a political and personal agenda well beyond the allegations made.
. . . . offer a public apology.
. . . . deliver a hand written personal apology.
. . . . call for the Senate to do an ethics probe into the incident.
. . . . quietly withdraw from the controversy and allow the accuser to speak unrefuted.
