We' litigate' war 'conduct', not strategy, all the time.
The real life example I gave involved people committing war crimes and people interposing themselves to prevent further crimes.
We tried people at Nuremburg and we've court martialed people in every war since for violating the 'laws of war'.
Do you really think 'anything goes' or that in the situation I described you wouldn't have known the right course of action, or inaction?
