BP didn't get Big by being stupid. Compare any young startup in the industry today to IPIX in terms of pipeline drugs, results to date, revenue streams they will attack, safety of drugs, etc. and I believe IPIX comes out way, way ahead.
As such, the mere idea that they are not going to courted heavily by >1 BP for EVERY drug and EVERY indication is preposterous IMO.
Since I like horse racing allegories in talking about IPIX products, they are akin to Secretariat during the Triple Crown. BP had seen early in the game our pedigree but had no clue as to our heart, but the trials have given them the results that our heart is abnormally large (efficacy, safety) and our brain (Leo) exceedingly competitive to go with our outstanding physical attributes to make us the odds on favorite to win the Triple Crown (I like that we have 3 drugs to signify the 3 races of the Triple Crown) .
Shorts work is shadowed in secrecy due to being FUD driven, while BP works in the shadows to keep their perceived value of as-yet not owned properties close to the vest and thus pay as little as possible for them.
Our horse has already won some major prep races by earlier trial successes, but B-OM and Prurisol trials will make us known nationwide just as did Secretariat after the first two legs of the Triple Crown. The Belmont is the final race and also the longest. That race will be Brilacidin being put thru the paces of the many, many further trials for multiple indications and bring the buyout / partnership price up to staggering amounts.
We have all bet heavily on the same horse, expect to see everyone in line soon (year or so at most) to collect our very heavy winnings.
