Should you invest in Bitcoin or XRP with limited funds available?

As of this post BTC is $8000 and XRP is .25 cents
(rounded to make it easier)

If you have $100..

You can buy 0.0125 BTC or 400 XRP

If you have $1000..

You can buy 0.125 BTC or 4,000 XRP

Lets say youre investment goal is to make as much money as possible in the shortest time possible.
Heck, lets say you want to make $25,000 profit

$100 invested....

With .0125 BTC, it would have to reach $2 million dollars to make $25,000 profit

With 400 XRP, it would have to reach $62.50 to make $25,000 profit

$1000 invested...

With 0.125 BTC, bitcoin would have to reach $200,000 dollars to make $25,000 profit

With 4000 XRP, XRP would have to reach $6.25 to make $25,000 profit

Comparing the numbers, it would appear more likely XRP would reach $62.50 before BTC hits $2 million. It would also appear more likely XRP would reach $6.25 before BTC hits $200,000.

Could I be wrong? Of course. But things get interesting when you start talking about larger 'potential profits'.

For you to make $1 million profit with .125 BTC, it would have to hit $8 million

For you to make $1 million profit with 4000 XRP, it would have to hit $250

BTC @ $8 million vs XRP @ $250. No one can see the future but logically, it would appear there is a better chance XRP hits $250 before BTC hits $8 million.

Breaking it down further..

Owning .0125 BTC, every penny increase gives you $0.000125 profit
Owning 400 XRP, every penny increase gives you $4 profit
Owning .125 BTC, every penny increase gives you $0.00125 profit
Owning 4000 XRP, every penny increase gives you $40 profit

So in the strictest sense, for you to make $40 profit with 4000 XRP, you need XRP's price to increase by just a mere penny. Every penny gained puts $40 in your pocket.

But for you to make $40 profit with .0125 BTC, you would need BTC to increase $3,200. Every $3,200 gain puts $40 in your pocket.

Huge difference.
